Hyderabad to Hampi

From my childhood onwards I dreamed about visiting Hampi, But it took a lot of years to full fill it, and it is time to visit it.

Since it is an unplanned trip, we don't have any advance bookings, After reaching Hampi, we rented an AC room for 1500 per day [Single AC room with attached bathroom, Only stay]

Let's start with the planning

On a boring work week, I and my colleague decide to go somewhere, and we don't want to go in the car. So after office hours, I told my friend to come to Afzalgunz with a backpack. So we both reached the meeting point around 9PM, We boarded the bus to go Hospet.

That is it, Most awaited Hampi trip has been begun.

July 03rd

Hyderabad -> Hospet

10 PM

We boarded the bus in Hyderbad, It will reach the Hospet by 5AM. Simple.

We are done with Day 1.

July 04th

Hospet -> Hampi

07 AM

We reached the Hampi on the KSRTC bus from Hospet, After reaching Hampi we searched for a stay, Within 15 min we got our stay.

There are many places in Hampi, But we decided to explore the below places.

1. Group of Monuments
2. Virupaksha Temple
3. Vijaya Vittala Temple
4. Vithala Temple Complex
5. Elephant Stables
6. Lotus Mahal
7. Hampi Bazar
8. Tungabadra River

10 AM

After breakfast, we started visiting one by one.

Here the Point: We decided to explore each place barefoot only.

Hampi means memories, So I captured as much as possible.

After sunset we spend some time in Hampi Bazar, we had dinner near the temple and reached the room for sleep, we are done with Day 2.

July 05th

Hampi -> Hospet

After wake up, we started exploring the remaining places mainly the Tungabhadra river areas. 

07 AM

2 PM

We decided to visit Tungabhadra Dam, So we left the Hampi after Lunch and reached the dam by 4PM.

On the way, I captured the above pics, that is a Lake.

8 PM
Reached Hospet bus station, boarded the bus around 10 PM, done with Day 3.

July 06th

06 AM

Reached Hyderabad went home to fresh up after that, as usual, our work week started.

Verdict

Everyone should visit Hampi at least once in their lifetime.
