It is not a road trip, so there will be no pics between travel, So let's starts with trip figures.

Let's start with the planning
For the last few months, I am thinking about only one place, Kasol, I booked my tickets and planned to go there. 10 days before to start date, I called Vamshi to say I am coming to Delhi, from there I will go to Kasol. He asked, how many? I said, alone.
Then he convinced me to not go alone, instead, he said a plan to go to Nainital.
I took 10 days of leave, So no hurry and no flight.
July 1st
05 PM
Hyderabad Railway station
I packed my bag to go to New Delhi, Reached the railway station, and started my journey on AP Sampark Kranti.
I think this is the 6th time I am going to Delhi in the last few years. So nothing much to explain or share about this day. That is all on Day 1.
July 2nd
06 PM
Reached New Delhi, took the cab to reach Vamshi's quarters.
July 3rd
11 AM
Vamshi had some work to do, So I and Shahsi went to the lotus temple and Iskon.
6 PM
We came back to quarters and packed our bags to catch Ranikhet Express at 10 PM.
10 PM
Boarded Ranikhet Express to go to Kathgodam station, we don't have a direct train to Nainital.
That is all on Day 3.
July 4th
5 AM
Around 5 AM we reached the Kathgodam station, After having some Tea we boarded a bus to reach Nainital.
6 AM
The bus halted in few places, SO we took some photos in that gap.
9 AM
Reached the Nainital after some beautiful ghat road journey.
10.30 AM
After roaming for some time, we hired a cab to reach Holiday Home, It is 40min away from the main town. I should say thanks to Vamshi for taking care of the accommodation.
It is beautiful, Though it is maintained by the government, neatness and everything is great, Especially food is very cheap and best, For example, they charged Rs 2.5 for a full cup of coffee.
After fresh up, We hired a cab for the entire day to show important places in the Nainital.
Mainly, we covered below places
- Naini Lake
- Naini Peak
- Snow View Point
Due to heavy fog, we didn't see any peak from View Point, But the weather is very good.
By the time of sunset we reached stay and ordered the food. Yeah, that is all for Day 4.
July 5th
07 AM
We woke up early and went to visit near school and areas, So we check out from the stay and went to the main road by walk, then some guys gave lift in their OMNI and offered the drive to Delhi, But softly we refused it and asked to drop in Nainital town.
3 PM
After reaching Nainital town, we went boating in Nainital lake, It is really beautiful
That is all in the Nainital. So we took the cab and reached Kathgodam railway station, We had dinner in a restaurant near to station and it is good.
9 PM
Boarded the train to reach Delhi. That is all from the Nainital and for Day 5.
July 6th
Reached Delhi, My train is at 6 PM, So went to Vamshi's quarters and took some rest, he showed few areas in quarters.
After a goodbye, boarded the Hyderabad train. That is all from Day 6.
Actually at that time heavy rains on another side of Nainital, So we didn't go for Paragliding.
July 7th
7AM
Reached Hyderabad.
Verdict
Nainital is something special, It is not something like Ooty or Coorg. You need to have some special taste to enjoy Nainital, and I liked it.
